HR Manager

£35,000 - £40,000

Location: Basingstoke / Hampshire

The HR Manager is responsible for administering the Performance and Talent Management process and oversees associate development and training. Recruits and hires high performance candidates, develops and maintains organizational policies, processes and procedures, maintains/enhances the benefit program and compensation system, and provides employee relations and guidance.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Manages the HR performance through defined metrics and key performance indicators.
* Reviews and manages programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding employment and analyzes turnover and related statistics.
* Manages company Talent Development process in addition to developing, delivering and supervising training programs and new employee orientation programs.
* Locally manages Performance Management System to facilitate breakthrough performance. Assists managers in development of job expectations, objectives and development plans.
* Manages employment activities assuring the timely placement of qualified employees in salaried, hourly and temporary positions.
* Supervises the maintenance of any necessary records on associates.
* Ensures compliance with employment related laws.
* Represents Company on all related litigation.
* Supervises employee benefit plan programs.
* Administers wage and salary policies while ensuring competitive rates of pay and competitive benefits. Conducts annual benchmarking to ensure competitiveness. Manages annual merit/salary planning process.
* Involved with day-to-day associate relations including problem solving, counseling and coaching, fact-finding, etc.
* Maintains an environment conducive to positive employee/company relationships.
* Conducts annual Associate Satisfaction Survey and action plan creation and implementation to improve employee relationship.
Skills

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years applicable experience. CIPD preferred.
