Our client, an established Chartered Accountants Practice in Reading is seeking a newly qualified Accountant with a strong grounding in Audit, as they are currently experiencing an on-going period of growth. Your remit will include spending 70% of your time auditing medium sized companies within the local area, and 30% of your time preparing statutory accounts for these clients. Candidates will need to be experienced in both external audit and Practice accountancy in order to be considered.
The ideal candidate will be either recently ACCA or ACA qualified or very near to becoming qualified, with a desire to develop within a progressive Accountancy Practice.
Experience in planning and leading Audits is essential as this is main focus of the role. Supervision of staff within an accountancy environment is desirable but not essential. A full range of accounting and auditing skills will need to be displayed in order to be considered for this role.
The successful applicant will need a full UK driving licence as client visits will be part of the role.
